Groep Thoen now has 8 branches in Southeast Flanders with 5 makes in its portfolio. The development of the structure was quite challenging. One of the challenges was to set up a general fleet management at group level.
Traditionally, various sites in the group worked independently with ProPlanner for the management of courtesy, demo and company cars. The time had come to join forces.
Groep Thoen: “When Jumik presented the new version of the ProPlanner software, the advantages, such as an extremely intuitive user interface and a paperless workflow, were immediately obvious. This digitisation also means less administrative work for us. Not only damage statements, but contracts too are automatically delivered digitally to the customer. The integration with the D'Ieteren DMS, both in sales and after-sales, was also a strong argument.
Slowly but surely, the advantages of a central fleet management system are becoming clear. Thanks to the automatically updated TCO sheet and a detailed financial section per vehicle, we can now report not only in terms of utilisation rate but also profitability. These data will help us to remain competitive in a strongly evolving market.”
