This is what your day will look like:

As a production planner, you are a crucial link in our company between sales, purchasing, production and logistics to ensure smooth production. You are responsible for planning, controlling and directing the production process on a daily basis. Furthermore, you evaluate the preliminary planning on a weekly basis, based on forecasts and orders.

  • You draw up the planning for the various production lines. Here, you not only take into account orders, stock and forecast, but also consider staffing, line efficiency and availability of packaging and raw materials.
  • You follow up new orders and integrate them into the planning.
  • You monitor the planned planning and effectively produced quantities and make adjustments where necessary.
  • You keep track of the raw material stock on a daily basis and are responsible for the timely ordering or calling of the various raw materials. You strive to optimise the stock of finished products in order to keep stock levels as low as possible.
  • Sending and following up supplier complaints.
  • You participate in the daily kick-off meeting where planning problems are discussed with the various departments.
  • After an induction period, you will also support the planning for our other production sites if necessary.
  • You report to the Plant Manager.

This is what we expect from you:

  • You enjoyed a bachelor's or master's degree in an economic field and already had several years of experience as a planner in a production environment.
  • You have an affinity with the production floor and processes and like to know what is going on in production.
  • You work in a planned and structured way, but also know how to be flexible in case of changes.
  • You enjoy being part of a team and playing your part in it.
  • You are fluent in the Office package, mainly Excel. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • You are alert to efficiency in production and like to think along with others about optimisations.
  • You have a healthy dose of assertiveness and during consultations you communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English.

This is what you get in return:

  • Together with your colleagues, you will step into our Sweet Adventure growth trajectory, allowing both you and our organisation to grow.
  • We offer you an attractive salary, flexible working hours, fringe benefits and 6 days off work.
  • By bike or by car, you get to work congestion-free.
  • You will join a warm organisation with great colleagues, where you can enjoy the sweet smell of biscuits every day.
  • Every day you work on The Sweet Adventure so that everyone in the world can enjoy our delicious products.
  • A wonderful adventure!

Tasty testimonials
