We are looking for a junior lawyer to join our Financial Regulations Team!
Our Financial Services Regulatory Team (FinReg Team) consists of 4 lawyers supported by knowledge professionals.
The FinReg Team serves both Belgian and international clients, including leading banks and investment firms, asset managers, insurance companies, payment institutions, crypto exchanges and fintech players. The team is recognised in all major legal guides, including Chambers Europe, Legal 500, Who’s Who, and IFLR.
As a young talent, you will receive comprehensive training, allowing you to foster your skills and grow into a leading expert in the field. You can expect extensive direct client contact from day one.
Your role
As a FinReg team member, you will:
- Collaborate with your team members to provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients operating in the field of financial services, for example areas such as banking and funds regulation, payment services, crypto, ESG, and other relevant financial services regulations
- Explore with the team evolving laws, industry trends and disruptive technologies
- Contribute your legal insights and expertise to the development of sustainability with our clients, promoting responsible growth within the financial services industry
- Engage in the fascinating world of RegTech, working with innovative tools and solutions helping our clients to navigate complex regulatory frameworks
- Actively engage in discussions with the regulatory authorities and participate in regulatory investigations and proceedings
