Date and location
The Environmental Safety Training Course will be held from Monday 16 September to Wednesday 18 September 2024 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Health Campus Jette, Laarbeeklaan 103, 1090 Brussels, Belgium.
Language and Course Notes
The official language of the course is English. No simultaneous translation is available.
Course notes and handouts will be provided in English.
Course Fee
Early Bird Registration fee (till 15 July 2024):
2.600 euro per participant
Regular Registration fee (from 16 July 2024):
3.100 euro per participant
The course fee, payable by credit card, covers all lessons, the course material and the participation to the exam. Also included are all the coffee breaks, lunches, the shuttle between the hotel & the campus and the social event on Sunday evening.
Cancellation Policy
Registered participants who cannot attend the course may apply for a refund of the registration fee. A substitute delegate is, of course, welcome. Notification is made via e-mail. The participant is entitled to a refund, minus a service fee, according to the following guidelines:
- 14 to 11 business days before starting date of the course - 25 % of the total amount
- 10 to 6 business days before starting date of the course - 50 % of the total amount
Regrettably, no refunds will be made if notification is made less than 5 business days prior to the course.

During the course you can stay at nhow Brussels Bloom at a special, well-negotiated rate. The rates are 185,00 euro/night in the weekend and 220,00 euro/night from Monday till Wednesday (breakfast, internet, fitness… included).
A free shuttle bus service will operate on a daily basis between nhow Brussels Bloom and the university.
