6 months LegalDirect 2.0: a retrospective

💥 We are now six months after the merger that created 'the new and improved' LegalDirect - Law Firmand what half a year it has been! Just returned from an unforgettable team day at Suikerrock, I can't help but look back with pride on the evolution of our office 💜

Although July is usually a quieter month, that was not the case this year. After all, our clients have not been idle in recent months and neither have we. It was a pleasure to work on their projects such as the establishment of a chemical technology company, supervising an acquisition in the tech sector, conducting an IP infringement procedure at the EUIPO, assisting with contractual (construction) infringements , the editing of R&D agreements or of the sponsorship agreement for our Belgian Olympic pride ⛸️!

These types of challenging assignments keep us on our toes and demonstrate the importance of our new structure, which now allows us to delve further into our expertise and offer a larger team.

And that team is becoming increasingly attuned to each other, resulting in a more efficient working environment. Let's tell it how it is: without Joris, Lien, Bavo, Aleyna and Inge we wouldn't have managed it! Add to that the support of IT, accounting, office management and the list becomes long. Thank you all 😍

We are also very pleased that in the coming weeks we can prepare our offices in Brussels and Leuven for the arrival of three new team members who will start with us after the summer. We look forward to welcoming them to the hashtag#TeamLegalDirect 🙌

But before that happens, there is still time for holidays and weekends to recharge. France, Egypt, Italy, Turkey or Tomorrowland were already on the agenda of our team members and some have yet to leave. Essential breaks for all of us. Breaks to then challenge each other again with new ideas and solutions. Jeroen and I are already full of new ideas that we want to explore in the coming months 😅

It was an eventful six months full of challenges, growth and unforgettable moments. I look forward with great enthusiasm to what the coming months will bring us. Maybe a few weeks of leave for me too 😉
