Wijkwerking
At Kindercentrum, you can also participate in “the wijkwerking system” (previously known as "PWA") by VDAB. Specifically, people within this system can assist us with:
- providing additional support to our childcare assistants
- assisting our logistics staff with cooking and laundry tasks
- performing minor repairs and maintenance work, such as painting and decoration handling
- administrative tasks
If you are registered as a job seeker with VDAB or are entitled to a minimum income, and you feel that you are not ready for a regular job, you may be eligible for wijkwerken. Check the VDAB website for all the requirements and more information.
