Daycare center Peutertoren is located in Albert Servaeslaan, at the back of Torenhof Primary School (click here to view it on the map). The daily management is led by team coach Hilde Parmentier.

Operation

The daycare provides care for children aged 0-3 years in 2 spacious age groups. We have space for 36 children.

Our little babies start in the baby-crawler group the “Hummeltjes”. The youngest ones can nap according their own needs and rhythm. In the morning our puppet Joske tells us about the planned activity. After the afternoon snack, we create a cozy atmosphere with music.

Once they are ready, our little ones transition to our toddler group, the “Pagadders”, at approximately 15 months old (or according to their development). At 9 o’clock we gather in a circle, welcome each other and choose a “child of the day”. We sing, dance, jump, play, create crafts and much more. We promote independency and self-sufficiency as preparation for school.

Additionally, we also have a temporary smaller age group called the “Pebbels” which can accommodate 8 additional children. This age group was founded specifically for children with an urgent need for care.
