About the childcare centre

Kindervilla has been a trusted name in childcare in Waregem for many years. We care for children aged 0 to 3 years. The childcare centre is coordinated by team coach Lana Leyman.

How we work

Kindervilla has three groups, with a total capacity of 42 children. We work with mixed-age groups, meaning that children aged 0 to 3 years are cared for together in the same group. Our groups are called Girafkes, Olifantjes and Egeltjes.

Throughout the day, we follow your child’s natural rhythm, with plenty of cuddles, playtime and fun challenges. We value a consistent daily routine, helping children feel safe and comfortable. The day starts with a cosy circle time, where we wish each other a cheerful good morning alongside Raf the giraffe, Nel the elephant or Theo the hedgehog. They get to choose the child of the day, which is always an exciting moment!

During lunchtime and other daily activities, we encourage children to be as independent as possible, depending on their age.

What matters to us

Every child is at the heart of everything we do. We make sure they receive the right stimulation, challenges and play opportunities to suit their stage of development. We pay close attention to each child’s individual needs and adapt our games and activities accordingly.

As soon as the sun comes out, we head outside! Playing in the fresh air is not only fun but also good for children’s health. Whether big or small, all children enjoy being outdoors and discovering the many exciting things the world outside has to offer.

Our goal? To create a warm, safe place where your child feels completely at home. We do everything we can to ensure that you can entrust your child to our care with complete peace of mind!

Regarding the childcare schedule

To ensure that we can fully fulfil our pedagogical role and build a strong bond with your child, your child must attend childcare for an average of at least four full days per week. Half-day attendance is not possible.

Kindercentrum cannot guarantee the minimum number of childcare days at the start of the placement, which means your child may initially attend fewer days. As soon as occupancy allows, the childcare provider will inform you, and the number of childcare days must be increased to at least four days per week.
