About the childcare centre

De Kleine Linde is located at Bruggesteenweg 41 in Ruiselede and has been part of the Kindercentrum family since 2021. The centre is managed on a day-to-day basis by team coach Lisa Mulier. We are looking forward to moving to a brand-new location in Brandstraat. More news coming soon!

How we work

We have places for 23 children aged 0 to 3 years.

Our spaces are organised to include a separate baby room where our youngest children can spend time. This room has space for five babies. The larger playroom accommodates 18 children.

As soon as the children are able to crawl, they can gradually get to know the older children. We introduce these interactions step by step during quiet moments in the playroom.

Children grow up in a warm, homely atmosphere at De Kleine Linde. By providing the attention, cuddles and encouragement they need, we aim to help every child develop their own personality and grow into a happy, confident preschooler.

Every day, we offer educational activities tailored to the children’s ages and interests. Both the youngest and older children are actively involved in our daily activities.

What matters to us

We have a beautiful garden and a covered outdoor area, allowing us to play outside even when the weather is less favourable. As soon as the sun comes out, we head outdoors. During the summer, we spend much of our time living and playing outside. Our tree provides plenty of shade for outdoor play and picnics (yes, we do those too!). Even our youngest children get to enjoy the nature around us.

The themed photos that we proudly display throughout our childcare centre are one of our special highlights. We also love celebrating the children’s birthdays. Themed days are a unique opportunity for us to dress up and have fun. And we bake together every week!

Regarding the childcare schedule

To ensure that we can fully fulfil our pedagogical role and build a strong bond with your child, your child must attend childcare for an average of at least four full days per week. Half-day attendance is not possible.

Kindercentrum cannot guarantee the minimum number of childcare days at the start of the placement, which means your child may initially attend fewer days. As soon as occupancy allows, the childcare provider will inform you, and the number of childcare days must be increased to at least four days per week.
