You can find De Kleine Linde at Bruggesteenweg 41 in Ruiselede and since 2021 it has been part of the Kindercentrum family. The daily management is led by team coach Hannah Lahousse. We are excited about our upcoming new location in Brandstraat (2025). More information coming soon!

Operation

We have space for 18 children aged 0-3 years. Three dedicated caregivers are ready for the daily care of the children. During busy moments, we can call upon a butterfly to assist us.

Our living space is divided in such way that there is a separate area for the youngest ones to stay. As soon as the babies start crawling, they gradually get to interact with the older children. We facilitate this interaction during calm moments in the living area.

We have a beautiful garden and a covered outdoor space, which allows us to play outside even on less favorable days. As soon as the sun appears, we go outside. In the summer, we live and play outdoors. Our tree provides plenty of shadow during outdoor activities and picnics (yes, we do that too!). Even the youngest children can enjoy the surrounding nature with us.

What we consider important

Growing up happens in a warm, homely atmosphere at our facility. By providing the necessary attention, cuddles and encouragement, we aim to ensure that each child can develop their own individuality and continue to grow into a happy preschooler. Every day, we offer pedagogical activities that are tailored to the age and interests of the children. Both the youngest and older children are involved in our activities.

The theme photos proudly displayed in our facility are our pride and joy. Additionally, we love celebrating the children’s birthdays. Theme days are a unique opportunity for us to dress up and have fun. We also enjoy baking on a weekly basis.
