Peter joined Janson as a Partner in January 2018. He specialises in corporate, financial and commercial law matters. Peter has extensive experience and particular expertise in M&A transactions, private equity & venture capital deals, acting as lead negotiator and/or main contact for the client. Peter is much appreciated for his client-oriented approach by his clients, which include multinational and local companies, private equity funds and financial institutions. Peter has also assisted many clients in corporate finance and financial products related matters. He has obtained an Executive Master in Finance from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
Prior to joining Janson, Peter was a Counsel at Simmons & Simmons LLP and Bird & Bird LLP, and previously an Associate in Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Baker & McKenzie. Peter graduated from the University of Ghent in 2003, he has a Master of Business Law of the same university and a LL.M. International Business Law from McGill University (Canada). He is a member of the Brussels Bar since 2004.
