Michiel Van Lerbeirghe obtained his master's degree in law at the University of Ghent in 2017. One year later, he obtained an LLM in intellectual rights/ICT law at the KU Leuven. In the context of his LLM, he won the ‘popthesisprijs’ for the best master’s thesis.
He has been a lawyer since 2018 and joined Janson in 2019, after having worked for a year at the Antwerp Bar for a specialised IP firm.
Michiel Van Lerbeirghe specialises in intellectual property law, ICT law, market practices and media law.
